Clearest water

Clarity is the depth at which a black-and-white Secchi disk disappears from view. Across 249 lakes with satellite readings, the middle value in Oakland County is 10 ft. The clearest is Square Lake, Bloomfield Township at about 20 ft, then Stony Lake (19 ft), Bailey Lake (16 ft) and Baldwin Lake (15 ft). The least clear is Round Lake, Addison Township at about 2 ft.
