7 lakes in Lenawee County are 50 ft deep or more by Michigan DNR survey. Allen Lake is the deepest at 75 ft, then Round Lake, Rollin Township (67 ft), Devils Lake (63 ft) and Iron Lake (63 ft). The depth of the other 26 named lakes has not been surveyed; where an older state estimate exists, the register gives it as an estimate.

Clarity is the depth at which a black-and-white Secchi disk disappears from view. Across 41 lakes with satellite readings, the middle value in Lenawee County is 11 ft. The clearest is White Lake, Cambridge Township at about 19 ft, then Stony Lake (17 ft), Wolf Lake (16 ft) and Allen Lake (16 ft). The least clear is Tecumseh Hydro-Elec. at about 2 ft. Michigan DNR has stocked 8 lakes in Lenawee County 190 times since 1980. Walleye went into 6 lakes: Devils Lake, Evans Lake, Posey Lake, Round Lake, Rollin Township, Sand Lake and Silver Lake. The most recent stocking was 37,601 walleye in Devils Lake on 16 June 2026. Deep Lake and Allen Lake are designated trout lakes (Type C), with their own seasons and limits. Rivers and smaller waters stocked in the county: Lake Hudson (Bear Lake)(Covell Lake), Lake Loch Erin, Madison Lake, River Raisin and Wamplers Lake.
