Clarity is the depth at which a black-and-white Secchi disk disappears from view. Across 55 lakes with satellite readings, the middle value in Keweenaw County is 8 ft. The clearest is Amygdaloid Lake at about 16 ft, then Wood Lake (16 ft), Angleworm Lake (15 ft) and Siskiwit Lake (15 ft). The least clear is Bay Lake at about 2 ft.
