10 lakes in Kent County are 50 ft deep or more by Michigan DNR survey. Scram Lake is the deepest at 85 ft, then Hull Lake (72 ft), Lime Lake (70 ft) and Mead Lake (68 ft). The depth of the other 92 named lakes has not been surveyed; where an older state estimate exists, the register gives it as an estimate.

Clarity is the depth at which a black-and-white Secchi disk disappears from view. Across 125 lakes with satellite readings, the middle value in Kent County is 10 ft. The clearest is Ke-wag-a-wan Lake at about 17 ft, then Silver Lake (17 ft), County Line Lake (17 ft) and Blue Lake, Oakfield Township (16 ft). The least clear is Hilton Lake at about 1 ft. Clarity is not a test for bacteria or algae toxins.

Walleye went into 17 lakes: Bass Lake, Big Crooked Lake, Big Pine Island Lake, Blue Lake, Spencer Township, Bostwick Lake, Brower Lake, Flat River, Vergennes Township, Grand River, Lincoln Lake, Long Lake, Maston Lake, Pratt Lake, Reeds Lake, Sand Lake, Silver Lake, Versluis Lake and Wabasis Lake. The most recent stocking was 21,480 walleye in Lincoln Lake on 9 June 2026.
