Clarity is the depth at which a black-and-white Secchi disk disappears from view. Across 23 lakes with satellite readings, the middle value in Gladwin County is 9 ft. The clearest is Blue Lake at about 15 ft, then Lake Four (13 ft), Lake Lochbrae (13 ft) and Streaked Lake (12 ft). The least clear is Island Lake at about 3 ft.
