The depth of the other 47 named lakes has not been surveyed; where an older state estimate exists, the register gives it as an estimate.

Clarity is the depth at which a black-and-white Secchi disk disappears from view. Across 49 lakes with satellite readings, the middle value in Calhoun County is 8 ft. The clearest is Frier Lake at about 13 ft, then Saint Marys Lake (12 ft), Beadle Lake (12 ft) and Lyon Lake (11 ft). The least clear is Mud Lake, Convis Township at about 2 ft.
